It is 12 am and I just did my phase 1 mutu. I also checked the separation and sadly I have to say it's 3-4 fingers at the belly button and 2 above and below. I don't understand how that can be because I measured this morning a couple of times. Maybe it depends on what I was doing today. I really don't know but I will keep doing my routine.

Back at the beginning.
After a hectic time with selling the house and moving into the apartment. I decided to start the exercises again even though I can't cook like I want to and therefor it won't be a 100% commitment until we are in Germany but I will still start.
I also stopped breastfeeding, which is now 3 weeks ago and I think it helps with the healing.
So here we go.
I will now measure my separation.... I am very surprised, it is only one finger below and above the belly button and two finger wide at belly button. That's kind of shocking. It's great but why do I still have such a big tummy? hmm. I know I have to loose weight. Unfortunately I don't know how much I weigh now because the scale is being shipped. This will also have to wait.
I already did my focus phase 1 with small disruption from my little one but so far so good. I know that my left side is weaker than the right side because of the way I am always holding her, which is on my left side.
I am excited to see how my journey will be with this DR and alignment.
Yes, alignment is a big thing in loosing your tummy. I have always been sitting and walking bend forward a little and my right foot is facing outwards. As soon as I straighten it out it feels like my knee is turning inward but it doesn't. That is something I am also actively working on. I am paying attention as to how I am sitting, walking, getting up from the bed.
One last thing I purchased Merrel barefoot shoes, that promote healthy posture, use muscles that are not being used when wearing elevated shoes.
I cannot wait to be in Germany and be able to cook healthy ( have all my pots, pans, no pan here :( ), walk a lot where the weather is rather cold than hot and humid. Basically get back to where I have been before I got pregnant with my first daughter but of course with more muscles. I weighed 125 lbs in 2006 and the last time I weight myself was a month ago and that was 137 lbs. It's not about the weight anymore, but about healthy eating, walking, and exercising.

Beginning of the End
12 months postpartum and my DR is still 3-4 fingers wide. I was highly motivated at one point to work on getting rid of it, but somehow I lost myself, forgot to the exercises and to breath properly. I even started eating the wrong food.
Today is the beginning of the end. I signed up for the Mutu System Focus and will do the exercises, eat right, drink plenty of water and just get back in shape. I still have my Tupler Splints that I might use from time to time or I will sell them.
I am not emberassed of what my belly looks like. Why? Because it is not my fault. I had two beautiful girls, one is now 4-y-o. and the other just turned 1. I had a huge belly with both of them, proof are my pictures that I will post. I will also post pictures of my belly I took today. I hope and know I will see results in a few weeks. Stay with me.
The first three pictures are from 2009 a few days before I was induced, week 41.
This one is from May 2013, I think a few days before induction. Week 40.
This is my first blog post and I will try really hard to keep posting, because I am not really a writer :)
